Poker players all love a freeroll! It’s pretty rare that you can get something for nothing, after all. So My partypoker LIVE are delighted to bring you news of another (check out last week’s news of an exclusive $50K Last Longer here!) awesome promotion for the upcoming WSOP-C Playground in Montreal.

Just in case you hadn’t heard, the prestigious World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOP-C) will be returning to Canada on the 23rd August to the 3rd September. The Playground Poker Club in Montreal will host the CAD$2M GTD Main Event as well as six sizzling side events, each with a coveted WSOP-C Ring on the line.

To celebrate the fantastic event, a live CAD$11,000 freeroll will be held on August 19th at the Playground Poker Club, with no less than ten CAD$1,100 WSOP-C Playground Main Event seats up for grabs. To qualify for the freeroll, all you need to do is use your PP LIVE Dollars to buy-in in full to any tournament (excluding satellites) held at the Playground Poker Club between now and August 19th. So if you’re a regular at Playground, or if you fancy a trip over to the beautiful city of Montreal, this is the promotion for you!

You can view all of the fantastic tournaments hosted by Playground here, and take a look at the full terms and conditions of the promotion by following this link.

So, how exactly will the freeroll work? Well, the first time you buy-in to an event at Playground Poker Club using your PP LIVE Dollars, you’ll receive 5,000 chips for the freeroll. Not only that, every time you cash in a Playground tournament that you’ve used your PP LIVE Dollars to buy-in for, you’ll receive an additional 5,000 chips for your starting stack in the freeroll! For example, if you play ten tournaments using PP LIVE Dollars, and managed to cash in, say, five of those tournaments- you will start the freeroll with a massive 30,000 in chips. Five thousand for the first buy-in, and 25,000 for your five cashes!

PP LIVE Dollars is the best new currency around (sorry, Bitcoin!). They can be used by players to pay for event buy-ins, hotels, travel and even visas. They’re flexible and player-friendly, and can be won every single day in satellites on partypoker. There are currently a guaranteed $700,000 in PP LIVE Dollars to be won across hundreds of satellites each and every week on partypoker, and that number is only increasing. Players now have two years to use their PP LIVE Dollars, and those that do will automatically be entered into a $1M Leaderboard which runs throughout the 2018-19 poker season. At the end of the season, the $1M will be divided up between the top 100 players.

The flagship event of the WSOP-C Playground will of course be the CAD$2M GTD Main Event, but that won’t be the only fantastic tournament taking place. There will also be a dozen delightful side events, including the CAD$1M GTD Colossus, which players will be able to buy-in to for just CAD$330. Also on the tournament schedule is a CAD$5,300 Super High Roller, a CAD$2,200 High Roller, and a CAD$550 buy-in PLO event. All in all, there will be a stunning CAD$4M in guarantees up for grabs across the festival, plus, of course, seven prestigious WSOP-C rings.

partypoker Chairman Mike Sexton is thrilled about the prospect of WSOP-C Playground, saying: “If you’re looking for an incredible poker experience with tremendous value, here’s some great news: For the first time ever, the WSOP-C is heading to the premiere poker room in Canada, the Playground Poker Club.  The festival runs from August 23– September 3, with the highlight being a $1k (+$100) CA buy-in with a $2m guaranteed prize pool! Yes, that’s $2m! Wow! Magnifique! And the best part is you can win your entry on partypoker.com.  Check it out."

All of the red-hot poker action will be taking place at the magnificent Playground Poker Club in Montreal, Quebec, which was established in 2010 and is recognized by poker players all over North America as Canada's Premier Poker Destination. Playground has established itself as a poker club built for players, by players and is committed to operating a fun and safe gaming environment for players of all abilities and bankrolls.

Phil Sabbah, CMO at Playground Poker Club, said: “Playground’s players – and poker players across Canada – have always expressed a great love for the WSOP, and bringing these two iconic brands together is a sure-fire win for all. The World Series of Poker has earned its unique position in the poker world, and we’re thrilled to be working with them on what is certain to be a poker series for the ages.”
