The Caribbean Poker Party 2018 is now just two months away. The event is undoubtedly one of the highlights on the partypoker LIVE tour, each year attracting thousands of poker players of all levels and bankrolls to the Caribbean. The CPP is an incredible ten-day fiesta, lighting up the November gloom with red-hot poker tournaments and fantastic entertainment. Here are five reasons to be excited about the upcoming Bahamian spectacular:

MILLIONS World Ready To Rock

Super High Rollers of the world, rejoice! A brand new tournament, MILLIONS World, will make its debut at this year’s CPP. The massive $10 million Guaranteed event will have a buy-in of $25,500, and will need at least 400 entries to hit the highly ambitious guarantee.

partypoker LIVE president John Duthie believes that MILLIONS World will quickly become one of the most prestigious titles in world poker.  “There are many coveted titles in poker, from the EPT and WPT Grand Final titles, to WSOP and WSOPE Main Event and Players Championship bracelets, and not forgetting our own MILLIONS Grand Final crown.

“However, a $10,000,000 Guaranteed, $25.5k Buy-In tournament is just as important as any of those. We can’t wait to hand the trophy over to our first winner in November, let’s hope it’s one of the 100+ online qualifiers partypoker will be sending, as that would be quite some story!”

Magnificent Main Event Will Crown New Poker Royalty

Ahh, the Main Event. Always the most important and prestigious tournament at any festival or series, though it’s got some stiff competition this year at the CPP from MILLIONS World. With the guarantee DOUBLED from last year to a fist-pump inducing $10 million, the CPP Main Event looks unmissable.

The Caribbean Poker Party Main Event champion will join a prestigious and very exclusive club of players to have captured a MILLIONS Main Event title. That club currently includes Maria Lampropulos, Aleksandr Gofman, Sam Greenwood, Jon Van Fleet, Taylor Black, Pascal Lefrancois, Team partypoker’s Anatoly Filatov, and, most memorably of all, Viktor ‘Isildur1’ Blom, and it’s certain to be a thrilling ride as we find out who will join them by triumphing in the Bahamas.

Scintillating Schedule Will Be Fun For Players and Fans

It won’t just be MILLIONS World and the Main Event lighting up the Caribbean festivities. There’s also a tasty array of side events for players to get their teeth into. MILLIONS events are well-known for their Super High Rollers, tournaments that bring together the very best and the very wealthiest in the game in spectacular clashes for astronomical sums of cash.

They provide an absolute treat for poker fans all over the world to follow, and the Caribbean Poker Party will be no different. The CPP Super High Roller Championship will have a $250,000 buy-in and feature a two-day structure. The scintillating schedule also includes a $10,300 High Roller event, plus tournaments in PLO, Mix-Max, Win The Button, and 6-Max formats.

Ravishing Resort Will Take Breath Away

The tournament is taking place at the brand-new Baha Mar Resort – the Caribbean’s latest integrated resort destination and casino. Offering a collection of hotels to suit all tastes, set on beautiful golden beaches with clear blue waters, the resort offers the perfect opportunity to unwind away from the felt. The ultra-luxury casino at Baha Mar has over 100 live tables with Vegas rules and high-limit betting. Renowned poker pro Jonathan Little recently visited the resort for partypoker, and you can check out his verdict in the video below.

Joao Simao, partypoker ambassador, said: “I can't wait to head to The Bahamas this November. The Caribbean Poker Party is one of the events I look forward to the most and this year the location has got even better. It's a great event to bring the family to and enjoy spending time together off the felt.”

Best of All, You Could Be There

The biggest reason to be excited about the Caribbean Poker Party is that you can still be there! A wide variety of satellites are running each and every day on partypoker, giving you the chance to join the superstars in the Bahamas this November.

A weekly $530 Mega Satellite runs every Sunday at 21:00 BST, awarding at least two $12,000 packages to the Caribbean Poker Party, which includes a Main Event ticket, a nine night stay at the luxurious Grand Hyatt Baha Mar for two people, $2,000 cash for expenses and $1,000 in resort credit. Daily PP LIVE Dollar satellites from $5.50 are running now, with up to $10,000 in partypoker’s new flexible player currency able to be won.

To buy-in to the Main Event, MILLIONS World, or buy travel and hotel packages for either using PP LIVE Dollars, click here. You can even book your spot on a Business Class Jet from London!
